Our story begins exactly 52 years ago, in 1957: Samuel Werder sets up a mechanical workshop in the basement of his parent's home.
In 1964, the company moves into a new building in Schinznach-Bad (see photo) - it doubles the manufacturing area in 1978. In 1985, additional office and storage spaces are added and in 1991, the manufacturing area is again doubled.
But these premises, too, are soon inadequate, so Samuel Werder AG purchases 7,500m2 construction site in the Werd industrial zone in Weltheim and in 2000 moves into the modern, bright building - the ideal conditions for orderly and efficient production.
A first-class equipment park for manufacturing quality products and superior technical competence are tradition with us. The first NC-controlled milling machine was commissioned already in 1977 and so was the first 3D-coordinate measuring machine in 1993. And today? Take a look at our equipment list!
What's more: The second generation has been on site and on the workbench since 1998 - together with 50 employees.
